Summary of Position
The Personal Insurance Representative is accountable for providing a high level of customer service to a diverse clientele in recognizing and responding appropriately to business development opportunities by meeting the customers’ insurance needs. In addition, the Personal Insurance Representative is responsible for achieving new sales and growth opportunities for the organization.
Lines of Business
The Personal Insurance Representative handles all types of personal insurance (standard, high value, and hard-to-place), pleasurecraft, and travel medical insurance. They may also handle ICBC and British Columbia private automobile insurance
The Personal Lines Insurance Representative has a minimum 1 years experience in personal insurance, and carries a General Insurance Salesperson Level 1 License or a General Agent Level 2 Insurance License through the Insurance Council of British Columbia.
